How WineBoxAid works

Made in Sweden

The WineBoxAid was invented, designed, and manufactured in Sweden. Our philosophy is to support local business and eliminate the need for energy-intensive shipping from half-way around the world.

Perhaps more important is the benefit derived from making the WineBoxAid using 100% Ocean Plastic. It’s green color is a result of the high percent of salvaged Ghost Fishing Nets used to make it. That means that every purchase actually incentivizes the removal of plastic from the seas. In our own small way, we’re trying to make it profitable to do good.

We ship using environmentally responsible packaging. It’s made from paper made from grass fiber instead of wood fiber. Using grass instead of wood can reduce CO2 emissions up to 95% and water consumption is reduced by 6000 liters per ton compared to wood. True, the inside is lined with bubble wrap, but the entire package can be recycled.
